Hi there Queen & Co fans!
Today I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you!! The launch of my very first stamp set designed especially for Queen & Company. This stamp set has been designed with versatility in mind. Our uber cool, Snow Globe Stamp & Shaker set is teamed with the circle shaker & die set as well as a selection of pretty fillers...perfect for your holiday card making!
The beauty of this set is that the individual stamps can work equally as well for Fall cards as well as Christmas cards. Today I will be showing you some examples for Fall.
Choosing cardstock to match the stamped snowglobe base, I used the appropriately sized die from the Pop Up Dies- 8 circles found in the online store, to create a ring around the circle window.
By stamping 'trunk' of the tree x3 times, I created a 'bigger' tree, then used the the smaller branch stamps to fill in; I wanted to give the impression of a fall tree which had lost it's leaves. The mixture of fall colored fillers imitate fallen leaves. I then used a mixture of punched paper leaves using our 6x6 paper pads & felt Bling Flowers to decorate the outside of the snowglobe. A piece of jute tied to a stamped 'Thanks' tag, finishes it off nicely!
For this card I stamped a woodgrain background for an authentic feel & used craft card stock for the die cut ring & snow globe base. When stamping this scene, I created a 'smaller' fuller tree adding stamped leaves in rich autumn colors, with a pretty mixture of fillers for effect. I stamped extra leaves & fussy cut them together with a little fox which I positioned on the outside of the card, creating a scene. A small arrangement of wooden button, punched leaves & a stamped 'Thanks' tab, was exactly what was needed to finish this card off perfectly.
