Hi everyone!
Michele Boyer here today sharing two tags I created using Queen & Company’s Shaped Shaker Tags. The set include three dies and nine pre-cut foam and acetate shapes to create tags for any occasion!
My first tag is a cute snowman using the circle die shape.
I first die-cut a circle to use as the backing. After adhering the light blue center and pre-cut foam, I placed white donuts and clear and blue diamonds inside. The hat is simply a rectangle of black card stock with a thin strip along the bottom as a brim. I adhered a strip of double-sided tape just about the brim then wrapped red twine to create a hat band. On the band, I adhered a red Pom flower.
The eyes and buttons were created using the negative space from the die (string hole), and the nose and smile are from Snowman 2 by Paper Smooches.
On the back, I adhered another circle stamped with “To” and “From.”

Next, I created a tag used to embellish a small “welcome home” gift bag.
To create a backing/base for the tag, I simply traced the shape (minus the thread hole) onto card stock, cut along the lines and adhered the foam shape. After die-cutting the tag shape, I sponged the inside piece with Distress Oxide inks, splashed a bit of water to create the spots then adhered to the base. I stamped the sentiment, adhered a die-cut heart then adhered the foam shape and sprinkled in an assortment of Matte Pearlies.
After adhering the acetate and tag border, I adhered a stamped, colored and die-cut chick (from Stamping Bella) then tied my tag to the bag with natural hemp cord.
