Hi there crafty friends!
Kim Watson with you here today. I'm so thrilled to to be sharing a selection of cards using the new Love Jar Kit! Queen & Co have knocked out the park with this kit, it is adorable!! The little flower & wood toppings, well thought out dies & versatile stamps will have me reaching for this kit all year around.
With Spring in the air & those cute floral stamps, I couldn't help myself but create a variety of sweet cards full of pretty colors & floral bouquets.I tried the lid off for this card, so the jar looks like a vase. Fussy cutting & punching a few flowers out, adds extra dimension. Mixing the flower fimo & diamonds make this card pretty & colorful.
An inked rainbow became the perfect canvas for this card. By limiting the filler & ink colors to yellow, lime & blue I created harmony against the riot of color.
Fussy cutting the stamped 'hugs & kisses' heart teamed with bakers twine, makes the sweetest cluster in the top right corner. Adding tiny wood hearts to the filler mix, further supports the heart theme of the card.
I tried another idea with this card...a trio of jars. The flat, die cut jars in the background are filled with soft blooms & the front jar with the lid on, is filled with yellow, lime, blue fimo & diamonds.
Notice the buds in the right jar? I used the plain leaf stamp...it doubles as a bud so nicely; more proof of the versatility of this kit.
For this card I limited my color palette to yellows & pinks. The x2 colors compliment each other so well as you can see by the papers selected from the 6x6 paper pad included in the kit.
More dimension here with punched patterned paper flowers this time, positioned within the stamped flowers. Rhinestones always add super bling don't they? Lastly I used blue, white fimo & diamonds fillers as the 'water' in the jar; it contrasts beautifully against the pink patterned paper strip.
I hope they inspire you to try something a little different with your kit. Have a wonderful day further.
