It's Mary Ann Jenkins here today with a layout to share using the new Fruit Basket Shaker kit, it's filled with the cutest little fimo fruit pieces and wonderful fruit dies too! This time, my layout started with an old family photo and a stamp! The photo is of my husband's grandparents (my kids great grandparents) back in 1943. The "Together We Make The Perfect Pear" stamp was the perfect sentiment to use with the old black and white.
I layered 4 pieces of patterned paper from the Mat Stack on to my cardstock, of course I had to use the pear design!
Next, I made a pear shaker box using the strawberry die and foam piece, turning it upside down to create the look of a pear. I also cut one more pear, and added the black "seed" gems to the center.
I love the look of the foam shakers, they add just enough dimension to my layout, but aren't bulky once the layout goes in the album.
I printed my journaling, and finished it off with the stamp and a little machine stitching.
We still have more Fruit Basket fun to share with you, so make sure you stop back by tomorrow!
