Make a Wish - Birthday Bash

Make a Wish - Birthday Bash

Ok crafty friends. You are going to want head over to the Queen & Co store to take a closer look at this new Birthday Bash Kit. It is so versatile and fun...it is sure to put a smile on your face. Here are a couple of cards I created with the kit.

For my first card, I couldn't resist that bouquet of balloons and decided it needed to be front and center on this first card.
I stamped the balloon image with pink ink onto white cardstock and then die cut it out. The new Gloobers included in the kit made adding the pom poms to the die cut super easy and quick! I chose a trio of colors and varying sizes to keep things whimsical and fun. I then scalloped the bottom edge of a white embossed mat and adhered a matching strip of poms in the same colors along the bottom edge.
I adhered the balloons to the upper center of the mat and stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment underneath.  A bow of twine on the balloons, a pink mat adhered to the confetti paper card base completes the card.

This second card highlights the blue papers in the kit along with the cupcake die cut pom pom frosting! The base of the card uses the blue chevron print, with a strip of darker blue tied with yellow twine.
A white circle die cut puts the cupcake in the place of honor for this card. Made with a striped paper liner, yellow pom pom frosting and a blue die cut candle, it was made to stand out! The "Make a Wish" sentiment was then stamped in blue underneath the cupcake.
Scattered die cut stars along with stamped confetti finishes off the card.

Thanks for stopping by...now run over the store and grab one for yourself!
