For my first card, I chose this uplifting sentiment stamp from Papertrey Ink. To go along with the sentiment, I watercolored an intense night sky made up of shades of blue, turquoise, and purple. I started out with Zig watercolor brush markers, then added intensity with ink refills.
Next I added various embellishments as the stars in the sky: White Pinwheels, star sequins from the Sequin Topping Set, and Petite Posies.
A touch of black and white striped twine helps bring out the darker ink colors and the black star sequins.
My next card is just about the complete opposite in style. This time I focused on simplicity and lots of white space. I die-cut a gray cloud out of a pattern from the Flirty Florals Paper Pad and stamped it with an encouraging sentiment from Papertrey Ink.
I stitched lines from the cloud down to a rainbow of Twinkle Drops for rain. Everything is mounted with foam adhesive to a white scalloped card base. Super sweet and simple.
