Hey everyone! It's Greta here. I am stopping in today with a couple of cards using the new Window Shaped Shaker Kit. There are as many possibilities for this kit as there are views out your window! For my cards today, I concentrated on the upcoming fall and winter seasons.
First up is card with a view of fall outside!
I chose the square window pane and shutters from the kit and then backed the window with a blue sky. Before adding the foam pieces, I cut several "sticks" using the die cut from the Bug Jar and pieced them together to make a leaf-less tree. I then added the foam pieces and rubble shaker toppings and assembled the window.
To continue the fall theme, I cut several leaves using the die cut from the Flower & Stem Dies to assemble a sunflower. I added a brown circle and rubbles to finish it off. I stamped the sentiment and then added a stick and leaves along with rubbles to complete the fall look.
And in case you like to get started on your Christmas cards early, I have a little Christmas greeting up next!
The white curved window pane against the Christmas green paper was the perfect backdrop to hang a wreath. After filling the shaker with clear jewel toppings, I pieced the wreath together with leaves cut from the Flower & Stem Die kit and then decorated it with red rubber bubbles and a bow at the top.
I stamped the sentiment directly onto the green background and then cut the scallops off a red and white striped awning die cut. Some twine and white starburst bling finishes off this wintery scene.
Thanks for stopping by!
