Hi there!
Laurie Schmidlin here with you today. It's my turn to share a a couple of cards with you, created with the new Pretty Presents Kit! I just love Queen & Co's kits! Not only are there fun shaker card elements included, but dies and stamps that can be used long after the shaker elements are gone making it so versatile!
For my first card, I used bright and fun girly colors. The bright pink chevron patterned paper makes the perfect background for the sparkly presents. After creating the shaker presents, I die cut the tops with the included dies. I then added chunky silver glitter to just the bottom parts of each one.
For embellishment, I added a piece of ribbon and some string from my stash. I then glued on some of the pink bows included in the kit (I LOVE these)!
For my second card, I created a quilted look by adhering several rectangles to my card and then adding some messy stitching. I wanted it to have the hand sewn look, so I purposefully made my stitching lines a bit curvy. For the presents, I die cut five of the smaller gift dies, backed them with white cardstock, and then adhered them to the background using dimensional foam.
The sentiment is from the stamp set included in the Pretty Presents Kit. I added some of the Bow Toppings to the tops of each of the gifts.
Thanks for joining me here today!
