Hi there! Laurie Schmidlin here again sharing two more cards that I created using the Pretty Presents Kit! This is such a great kit that comes with everything you need to create many different projects! It even comes packaged in a heavy duty storage pocket!
The present dies are such a great addition to this kit! Not only do they make for wonderful shaker cards like I did here, but can be used on their own long after the shaker elements have been used up!
Using the smallest of the present dies, I created two little shaker pieces to add to my card. I adhered them to three strips of the included patterned paper. The background is a simple watercolor wash using the same colors as the paper.
For embellishment, I added a couple of the bow toppings included in the kit.
The beautiful patterned paper is probably my favorite part of the Pretty Presents Kit! I love how there are bold patterns along with subtle tone on tone patterns. Using two of the bold patterns, I adhered a couple of strips for the background. I then used four of the subtle tone-on-tone patterned papers and one of the present dies to create the gifts. For embellishment, I added one of the bow toppings to each gift.
