Welcome to the weekend everyone, it's Kim Watson here again hoping you are having a fab Saturday! Today you are in for a treat! Using the uber cute Candy Land kit I created x2 cards using troll hair, stamps and fimo pieces that are sweet enough to eat.
Inspired by emoticons, I made these adorable critters from the pastel fuzz included in the kit and a selection of stamps.
The first card, You Make Life Sweeter, is a mixed media medley of glitter texture paste stars and pastel rainbow inks, blended to perfection. The prize though, is the super cute cotton candy critter, complete with big anime eyes and sweet grin.
The second card features a La-La Llama. Yep...that pretty fuzz was just calling to be fashioned into a cool lil' llama!
By twisting the purple and pink hair together, I created a blended look...because let's be honest, if you got da llama, you've got to have da rainbow hehe! With his cute face & stamped legs and ears using the cotton candy stamp, and that those curled bangs, tell me he isn't the most adorable thing you have ever seen?
Can I let you in on a secret? To curl the troll hair for his bangs, I actually used hair gel and a hair dryer twisted around a chopstick. Oh things we crafters do LOL!
