Hello! Laurie Schmidlin here with you today! I've got a couple of cards to share with you that I created with the brand new Fruit Basket Kit! I have been a fan of Queen & Co's kits for quite a while, but this kit is hands down my favorite! I love everything about it...the dies, the fun sentiment stamps, cute paper, and especially the adorable little fruit fimo toppings!
Both of my cards feature ways to create using the included dies, aside from creating shaker cards! There are so many possibilities!
My first card is all about the citrus shapes! I die cut two of the large citrus dies and two of the smaller ones. I sponged them to look like an orange, grapefruit, lime, and lemon.
For the sentiment, I embossed in white one of the included stamps onto black cardstock. I then wrapped some of the included twine around the edge before adhering to the card using dimensional foam.
My second card shows a fun way to create a three dimensional strawberry! I die cut the strawberry die four times out of the included patterned paper. I scored each die cut down the middle and folded them in half. I adhered each side together using a strong adhesive.
I added a strip of patterned paper (included in the kit) and did a little messy stitching to attach it to the card. For embellishment, I sprinkled on a few Epoxy Dot Stickers.
