Morning and welcome to a glorious Sunday morning!
It snowed her last night and the ground is covered in white. Its beautiful. But so is lots of color! Have you seen the What's New section of the website? Have you seen that the Washi Tape Bundle, normally $19.95 is now $6.95??
Like my last layout I did for Queen, I applied lots of Washi to my white base for color and pizazz! I chose colors from the photo to use as the base. Let's look.
With my colors being so crazy, I used tone on tone embellishments. I also used the Pop Up Rectangles along with the Rectangle Die Cuts. I layered washi on a scrap sheet of paper, ran it through my Big Shot to cut frames to apply for dimension. I tried to line them up the best I could, to match the already placed washi. Some of the embellishments came from the Holiday Binder that is on sale in the store too!
You can see that I had to use a teal type of blue, but I really think it works!
I used one of the frames over my photo and added colorful toppings. So, I now have a little shaker on my layout! I love that mug. Its the perfect grumpy face for a kinda grumpy boy.
Get out your goods and get to scrapping! I dare you to combine colors that make you happy!
