Hi Queen and Co fans! Rebecca here with two new shaker cards made with the fantastic Halloween Hoopla Shaped Shaker Kit! I love all the cute shaped shakers in this month’s kit and had to make sure I used all the shapes! This time I started by focusing on the candy corn shape.
I cut the candy corn dies out of three different patterned papers from the Halloween Hoopla Matte Stack so that I could layer the white, yellow and orange stripes inside the shaker just like the real candy corn! I also loved filling the shaker with candy corn toppings that look good enough to eat!
Next up, I used the witch’s cauldron die and shaped shaker to create a creepy cute, bubbly cauldron.
Using an ink blending tool, I rubbed some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink in a a haze above the cauldron for some eery green smoke. Once the ink was dry, I stamped and heat embossed the “I put a spell on you” sentiment right on top. The vertical arrangement of the sentiment is perfect for floating above the cauldron! And the Iridescent Bubbles are perfect bubbles for the cauldron!
