Hey there crafty friends!
Greta Hammond here with you today with two more cards made from the CandyLand Kit. This kit will surely satisfy that sweet tooth!
When I first saw this kit and all the fun colors and paper designs, I immediately thought of a candy store front.
To bring it to life on my card, I started with a square pop up for the base of my "store front" with a grey paper inside and the turquoise around the edges. I then created the iconic striped awning by placing strips of dark pink paper onto a white base. I used a border punch to create the scalloped edge and then adhered it at the top of the square foam.
I then filled the inside with candy pieces that I had cut out of one of the papers. You could also use the candy stamps from the set or glue some of the toppings inside for a change!
A simple stamped sentiment ties it all together!
I kept my second card pretty basic with the die cut lollipops as the star of the show.
After cutting, backing and then gluing them to some darker grey sticks, I placed them sticking out of the candy jar.
I stamped the sentiment to the center of the candy jar piece and also added foam to give it some dimension. Some sparkly twine bows finishes off this card.
