Hi friends..Kim here with a new layout idea using uber cute new Bug Jar Kit.
This page makes use of the sweet little bee stamps & dies and the jar shaker from the 'Love Jar kit' with the new 'cloth' jar top stamp & die from the 'Bug Jar Kit'. Focusing on the bee theme, I cut a variety of patterned hexagons and added some mixed media using hexagon stamps & shaped mask.
The black & white striped jar topper looks striking against the yellow & white palette, as does the mixture of toppings; teeny bugs from the kit, posies & pearl toppers. A stamped sentiment onto a tag & attached with black & white bakers twine & a little stamped & die cut bee motif finished off the jar.
My title is a die cut sentiment from black foam & foam alpha stickers, together with the hand journaling creates a little cluster under the photo.
The new 'Love Jar' die set has a variety of different flower sizes which when layered together make the sweetest little flower embellishments.
Using the 'Bee Mine' sentiment stamp with x2 ink colors, I made a decorative strip which I stitched along the top edge of the pages & teamed with black & white paper twine made the coolest border treatment. A few scattered yellow & white rubber bubbles & black pearls add great dimension & color balance.
Another fabulous stamp & die set from Queen & Company I adore how this page turned out....& can't wait to work on another layout using more of the cute bug stamps & dies.
