Nicole here today to share something I created with a few items from Queen & Co's Black Friday sale! I wanted to create a colorful page without any patterned paper, so I grabbed some different patterned washi tapes from the Washi Tape Bundle and got to work.
I started with some scraps of white cardstock that I trimmed to the same size, and wrapped the front of each paper with different patterned washi tapes. I chose a green and blue polka dot and pink and yellow striped tape - one for each card.
Once each of the papers was covered, I wrapped the ends of washi to the back and added a little stitching on my sewing machine around the edges. I added them to my cardstock base, but not before I added some splashes of watercolor paint to the background where each washi tape piece was going. I wanted to use a foam shaker from the Shaker Pop Up Bundle too, so I covered the front of a heart shaped shaker with black polka dot washi and then filled in the centre using these great word dies from the Black Friday sale.
All that was left was to add some great felt flowers, buttons and some bling - all found in the Black Friday bindersin each color!
