Toppings Cocktail!

Toppings Cocktail! 0

Hello, Amy Sheffer joining you today! I've been enjoying the Shaped Shaker Tags so much, and have two more projects to share today. My shaker projects tend to feature just one type of topping, but today, I'm sharing shaker tags that I've loaded up with a mixture of quite a few different toppings. I've left just enough space for the tags to shake; otherwise, they are loaded up with goodies!

Happy Bee Day

First up is a happy "bee" day card featuring a mixture of black, white and yellow. I started by stenciling a honeycomb pattern  onto the background, then adhered the shaker foam right to that background. The different toppings are: yellow Bright Pearlies Toppings; black and white Matte Pearlies Toppings; black and yellow Posies Toppings; and black, white, and yellow Sequins Toppings.

Happy Bee Day

I topped the tag with a light gray tag die-cut, a pair of stamped and die-cut bees, and a sentiment. I also used some of the toppings as embellishments around the shaker tag.

Black and white twine from the Twine Assortment finishes off the tag.

Trick Or Treet Smell My Feet

Next is a tag for a Halloween treat. I love this cocktail of orange, green, purple, black and white!

Trick Or Treet Smell My Feet

Here we have orange, purple and green Pops Toppings, green Pastel Diamonds Toppings; orange, green, and black/white Sequins Toppings, and orange Baby Beads.

Last, I used some Purple Sparkle String to attach the tag to the treat container.

Don't be afraid to mix your toppings or to fill your tags to the brim!

Be Thankful Tags!

Be Thankful Tags! 1

Hi there, Amy Sheffer popping in here today. For many families, September means the return of school and sports. The teachers and coaches who pour themselves into our children's lives are heroes every day, and I honestly can't thank them enough! Today I've created some teacher and coach thank-you tags using the Shaped Shaker Tag Kit.
Thanks Coach
My first tag is a coach thank-you tag. With Queen & Co's rainbow of colors, you can customize colors to coordinate with team colors. These are Baltimore Orioles colors, a team that always shows up in our area little league team line-up.
I started by cutting a background panel for my tag. I just measured the rectangular foam shaker, cut a rectangle to the same size, then clipped the corners. On that background panel, I ink bended some orange along one end, fading to white as I got toward the center, then stamped the "Thanks" sentiment.
Thanks Coach
I filled the shaker with a mixture of spherical toppings. The oranges and white ones came from the Pops Topping Set and the silver and black ones came from the Pearlies Matte Topping Set

Thanks Coach
I offset two "coach" die-cuts for a drop shadow effect, then adhered them to the acetate window layer. To complete the sentiment, I stamped "we had a ball this season" onto white card stock, trimmed it down, and layered it onto my tag, anchoring the ends of the strips with Black Rivets. I love how the sentiment goes with the "ball" toppings -- too fun!
Teachers Plant Seeds of Knowledge
Next is a sweet and inexpensive teacher gift. I die-cut a circle tag frame and circle back out of Kraft card stock, then stamped the sentiment to the background and some striped lines to the tag frame.
Teachers Plant Seeds of Knowledge
I filled the shaker tag with clear diamonds from the Pastel Diamonds Toppings Set. The flower accents are stamped, die-cut, and adhered to the tag frame.

And last, I tied the tag to a chic pencil using some pink and white baker's twine from the Twine Assortment. In this last picture, I let all the toppings gather at the top of the tag, so you could see the rest of the sentiment. I kinda like how part of the sentiment is covered by the toppings. It makes the whole shaker part that much more interactive!

Stamping on Window Shakers!

Stamping on Window Shakers! 1

Hi there,
Amy S joining you here today! I'm excited to share a pair of shaker tags with you today! On both of them, I stamped right on the acetate shaker window. I love being able to see the toppings behind the stamped sentiment!

Welcome Little One Shaker Tag

First up is a baby boy tag. I made this shaker with blue and green patterns from the Picture Perfect Paper Pad and filled it with blue pearls from the Pearlies Bright Toppings Set

Welcome Little One Shaker Tag

Here's a closer look at the stamped window. I used white Staz-On ink and a stamp positioner to help keep the stamp from slipping on the acetate.

I accented the tag with a stacked white felt heart and button center. For added color and interest, I clipped a second tag die-cut behind the first, offsetting slightly.

Welcome Little One Shaker Tag

I tied some Blue Sparkle String to the top and clipped the tag to an embossed brown bag using a white clothespin.

Supplies:

Shaped Shaker Tag, Pearlies Bright Toppings Set, Blue Sparkle String, Picture Perfect Paper Pad

Just For You Shaker Tag

Next up is some pretty packaging for a small gift. I created this tag using the same green pattern from the Picture Perfect paper pad, then filled with the pink sequin mixture from the Sequins Topping Set.

Just For You Shaker Tag

I stamped the sentiment, from the Pretty Presents Shaker Kit, in black Staz-On for this tag. Next I layered on a heart die-cut and a flower accent. The flower is built with paper leaf die-cuts, a felt flower, and a Clear Flower Button

Just For You Shaker Tag

I love the weight, texture, and shine of Queen & Co's sparkle string. Here I've wrapped some Pink Sparkle String around the pillow box a couple of times and used it to tie on the tag.

Apple or Pear?

Apple or Pear? 0

Hello! Amy S here today! Are you loving the Fruit Basket Shaker Kit as much as we are?! I have a pear (ha! couldn't resist!) of cards to share today, one featuring the adorable apple and the other a pair of pears.

Awesome to the Core

The Fruit Basket Shaker Kit packs a whole lotta awesome into one kit. Picking a favorite shaker is tough, but I've gotta say the apple is somewhere near the top for me! Those darling little multi-colored fimo apples are over-the-top cute!

Awesome to the Core

I used an ink blending tool to add just a touch of golden yellow ink to the white card stock behind the shaker, then filled with the little apple toppings and finished off with the apple frame, leaf, and stem die-cuts. Super easy and so eye-catching!

Awesome to the Core

For my sentiment, I stamped in black onto a white card stock rectangle, notched the bottom edge, added a light touch of yellow ink blending, then accented with epoxy dots and green twine from the kit.

Supplies:
Queen & Co Fruit Basket Shaker Kit
kraft, green, white card stock
black ink
pierced round top layer die

The Perfect Pear

Next up are the super charming pears. The die that makes the strawberry doubles as a pear when turned upside down.

The Perfect Pear

I did a lot of ink blending on this card -- the pear backgrounds, pear frames, and the stitched rectangle background panel.

The Perfect Pear

I love the pop of the dark gray card stock and white embossed sentiment.

Supplies:
Queen & Co Fruit Basket Shaker Kit
white card stock
aqua, green, and Versamark inks + white embossing powder
stitched rectangle die

So glad you stopped by!

Pretty in Pink!

Pretty in Pink! 0

Hi there, Amy S here today with some pretty-in-pink Fruit Basket Shaker Kit cards! So sweet!
Sweet As Can Be

For my first card, I created a pink grapefruit shaker using the fruit slice foam shaker, coordinating die, and grapefruit toppings, all from the amazing Fruit Basket Shaker Kit. I just adore the sweet pink and yellow colors here!

Sweet As Can Be

I went with a simple upside-down tag layout and a splattered kraft background.

Tip: The darling fimo grapefruit toppings make great accents. Use them in the same way you would use sequins or enamel dots.
Supplies:
kraft, white, green, and yellow card stock
Reverse Confetti tag, scalloped edge, and curvy banner dies
Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangles die
black ink and white paint

You Are So Sweet

For my next card, I kept with the pink fruit theme, this time creating a trio of strawberries.

You Are So Sweet

The fuschia polka dot strawberries help the center strawberry shaker element really stand out. The shaker is filled with a mixture of strawberry fimo toppings from the kit and light pink Pastel Diamonds Toppings. A simple tag tied onto the strawberry with red and white twine is the perfect way to display the sentiment.

Supplies:

kraft, white, and light pink card stock
black ink
stitched rectangle die

Slices of Happiness!

Slices of Happiness! 1

Hi there,
Amy Sheffer here today with a pair of cards using some of the cutest new products ever -- all part of Queen & Co's new Fruit Basket Shaker Kit. One look at the bright colors, refreshing fruit shakers, punny sentiments, and crazy adorable fruit slice toppings and you're sure to be as smitten as I am!

I Hope Your Day Is As Sweet As You Are

For my first card, I combined three different fruit die-cuts. Each die coordinates with a foam shaker piece, but you can see they stand alone beautifully as well.

I Hope Your Day Is As Sweet As You Are

I die-cut everything in white and used blending tools to color and shade with inks. I turned the lemon wedge into a shaker using the coordinating foam and those adorable lemon slice toppings. For the watermelon, I added some black twinkle drops (included in the kit) for seeds.

I Hope Your Day Is As Sweet As You Are

I love the colorful epoxy dots, too, and thought they'd be a perfect accent around my sentiment banner.

Wishing You A Slice of Happiness

For my second card, I created a refreshing, lemon-lime design perfect for summer.

Wishing You A Slice of Happiness

The fruit wedges can be lemons, limes, oranges, or grapefruit. I loved the two-tone yellow and green combo, so we'll call these lemon-limes ;) I used some of the clear Twinkle Drops as seeds.

Wishing You A Slice of Happiness

I white embossed one of the sentiments on black card stock and tied a tiny yellow twine bow on for an accent.

I'm having so much fun designing with this kit! Thanks for stopping by!
